SpecificityThis assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of IgG. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between IgG and analogues was observed.
-
Detection Range1.17-300mug/mL. The standard curve concentrations used for the CLIA's were 300mug/mL, 75mug/mL, 18.75mug/mL, 4.69mug/mL, 1.17mug/mL.
-
SensitivityThe minimum detectable dose of IgG is typically less than 0.51mug/mL. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean RLU value of 20 replicates of the zero standard subtracted by their two standard deviations.

Product Description specificalPrinciple of the assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody specific to IgG. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled IgG and unlabeled IgG (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to IgG. After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of IgG in the sample. Then the mixture of substrate A and B is added to generate glow light emission kinetics. Upon plate development, the intensity of the emitted light is reverse proportional to the IgG level in the sample or standard.
