Product Description specificalIntended Uses: This CLIA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Human alpha-CTx concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay||This CLIA kit uses Competitive-CLIA as the method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Human alpha-CTx. During the reaction, Human alpha-CTx in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of Human alpha-CTx on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to Human alpha-CTx. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The Relative light unit (RLU) valueis measured spectrophotometrically by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is negatively associated with the concentration of Human alpha-CTx. You can calculate the concentration of Human alpha-CTx in the samples by comparing the RLU of the samples to the standard curve.
