SpecificityThis assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of STMN2. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between STMN2 and analogues was observed. NOTE: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between STMN2 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist in some cases.
Intended UseHuman STMN2 ELISA Kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of STMN2 , concentrations in serum, Plasma , tissue homogenates and Cell culture supernates and Other biological fluids.

Product Description specificalIntended Uses: This STMN2 ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Human STMN2. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or diagnostic applications!
Principle of the Assay||STMN2 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a Polyclonal anti-STMN2 antibody and an STMN2-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with STMN2-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the STMN2 concentration since STMN2 from samples and STMN2-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-STMN2 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by STMN2 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind STMN2-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The STMN2 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
