SpecificityThis assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Mouse SOD1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Mouse SOD1 and analogues was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross- reactivity detection between Mouse SOD1 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.

Product Description specificalDescription: The kit is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of SOD1 in Mouse serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Mouse SOD1. During the reaction, Mouse SOD1 in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of Mouse SOD1 on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to Mouse SOD1. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The concentration of Mouse SOD1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
