Product Description
specificalPrinciple of the assay: This assay employs the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with antibody. Samples are pipetted into the wells with antibody conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). Any HDV antigen present is bound by the immobilized antibody. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of human hepatitis D virus(HDV) antigen bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
